King’s Church Ministry Training Program

"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:11-12).

 

Overview: 

EQUIP is King’s Church pastoral ministry, church planting, and missionary training program for people who desire to explore these fields. It is a season long commitment that meets every other week. The entire program is three modules over a one and a half year period. In between each module is a month long break. Interested persons are not required to commit to all three modules, but it is recommended. The program includes several focus topics in each module and will meet every other Sunday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.

Requirements:

Each module entails…

1. Classroom Instruction – (Biblical, book discussion, special topics)

2. Ministry Experience – ≥1 hr./wk.

3. Writing – book reviews, position papers, sermons, etc.

4. Reading – 3-4 books per module

5. Project - specific to individual

6. Scripture Memory – portions of the Pastoral Epistles
